Rosalina's Storybook is a collectible narrative within Super Mario Galaxy (2007). It tells the melancholic backstory of Rosalina, a young girl who befriends a Luma, loses her mother, and travels through space. The book appears in-game as a readable object in the Comet Observatory.

Why a PDF? In the late 2000s, capturing text from a Wii game wasn’t simple. You couldn’t screenshot it natively. The text scrolls slowly, and the book is large. For years, the only way to “own” the story was to either speed-read in the observatory or record it using a camcorder pointed at a CRT television.
