Amin had been attending Pak Ustad’s tajhiz jenazah classes for three weeks. He had learned the kamil (complete) text: from taṡlīṡ (the three handfuls of water for washing), to sirtu (sidr leaves), to the kapas (cotton), and finally the kafan (shroud). He had the steps memorized perfectly.

"Allahumma la tahrimna ajrahu wa la taftinna ba'dahu waghfir lana wa lahu." (Ya Allah, janganlah Engkau hilangkan pahala kami padanya, dan janganlah Engkau beri fitnah kepada kami sepeninggalnya, dan ampunilah kami dan dia).
