The film takes place in the 1970s, in a Tokyo high school where a new transfer student named Genji Kurokawa (played by Kazuma Sano) is about to shake things up. Genji, a charismatic and fearless teenager, quickly gains the respect of his peers and becomes the leader of a powerful gang. However, his arrival also sparks a bitter rivalry with an existing gang, led by a ruthless and cunning student named Shigeo.

The story follows (Shun Oguri), the son of a Yakuza boss, who transfers to Suzuran with the specific goal of uniting the warring factions—a feat no one has ever achieved. Standing in his way is Tamao Serizawa (Takayuki Yamada), the current strongest faction leader who rules through charisma and brute force.
