The story centers on Sana , a young transgender woman (Kinner) who is beautiful, talented, and resilient. Unlike many others in her community who are forced into begging or sex work due to lack of opportunities, Sana dreams of living a life of dignity. The series begins by showing the harsh reality of her daily life—facing discrimination from society, rejection from her biological family, and the strict, often exploitative hierarchy within the "Gharana" (the household run by the elder Kinner, known as the Guru).
