The most significant overhaul in version 1.2.1 is the replacement of the traditional experience point system with the “Atavistic Skill Web.” Unlike linear progression trees, the Skill Web forces the player to choose between enhancing their “Monstrous Nature” (e.g., a werewolf increasing their lunar fury or a ghost improving their poltergeist telekinesis) and their “Academic Persona” (e.g., rhetoric, logic, library research).
