Zerrin Doğan’s career coincided with the twilight of the Yeşilçam studio system. As the 80s progressed, the rise of VHS and harder content pushed the theatrical "erotik" film toward extinction. Doğan, unlike many of her peers, managed to transition out of the genre, leaving behind a filmography that remains surprisingly rewatchable.
